Sakura (in the field)

Capturing every Sakura I saw would have been difficult but my memory had a clear recollection of these particular trees. Japan abounds with beautiful landscapes and my goal is to merge actual scenes from my photographs with my imagination to create Chigirie that reflects the Japan I remember.

Chigirie allows me to use a variety of paper colors and textures to create a soft effect with bursts of color.
