After finishing university and working at an office job Gareth felt like he wanted more in life and made the decision to get out there. With the money he saved he bought a one way plane ticket to Buenos Aires, learned the language and started living and working abroad exploring the country in a very slow way.

Since that time in Argentina Gareth mastered the art of slow travel in several countries, immersing himself in new cultures every year or so. To date his 1 year trip to Brazil had the most impact on home as he got to explore the country like no tourist could – he went from tourist to townie.
