What’s the correlation between a sailboat and MoMA?

The Tiwal 3, an inflatable sailboat that fits into two bags, is available at the MoMA Design Store, Soho, NYC.

A revolution in the yachting world, the TIWAL 3 inflatable sailing dinghy is packed in two bags and is so compact, you can transport it in a car, van, or plane. Once you reach your sailing destination, the set up is simple. Inflate the hull, assemble the structure, and add the sail.

Marion Excoffon designed the revolutionary boat that’s easy to carry and fast to assemble. In less than 20 minutes, you can be ready to set sail. The Tiwal 3 is part of the spring collection and is currently displayed in the MoMA Design Store’s Soho New York City Location.

Take the TIWAL along on your next sailing adventure, whether you’re headed to the sea or a pristine mountain lake. The high-quality, rugged design incorporates drop-stitched technology with a hull that’s rigid once it’s inflated, an aluminum framework that’s laser-machined with a high degree of precision in mind, and a hull that’s very rigid once inflated (US Patent No. 9,694,875). Once you’re home, the Tiwal 3 can be stored out of sight in a garage, a basement or even a closet.
