I am Maneesha, the founder of Silk Route Escapes. Silk Route Escapes is a luxury travel company, and we specialize in experientail off-beat travel within India. So we do all of India, starting from the Himalayas all the way to lush Kerala.

What I am really excited about at the moment is we are doing an art travel, surrounding the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. The Kochi-Muziris Biennale is an art festival that goes on for three months. It’s India’s first Biennale. It’s got 80 top contemporary artists from around the world, exhibiting in landmark venues in Fort Kochi.

So we have historic venues, like the Aspinwall. We have got spice godowns that have been converted into art venues.

It’s a mix of international artists, as well as Indian artists.

And what we are doing is We are offering an insider’s peek into the art festival. You get to meet the artists. You get to meet the curators of the show. You get to see the artworks.

So today we are at one of my favorite Biennale venues, the Pepper House. We are going to walk through and see some of the art here.

In addition to that, we are doing something called what are you doing after the Biennale. So after the Biennale, once you’ve had a fill of your art, we do cultural performances.

So Its a mix of art and culture. Art and travel. Art and architecture.

If you are thinking of travel to India, if you are looking for art travel. If you want an insiders take on Kerala and the Kochi-Muziris Biennale , dos look us up on our website.
